Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Solo Fit website (www.solofit.co.uk) and the Solo Fit Gym app, and your access to and use of the Solo Fit facilities at 38 Juniper Square, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4GB. Please read them carefully before making a booking or purchase.

 

By accessing our website, downloading our app, or making a booking, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

1. Who we are

Solo Fit Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16148684). Our registered address is The Glass Barn, Southings Manor Farm, Clements End Road, Gaddesden Row, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 6HX. Our trading address is 38 Juniper Square, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4GB. 2. Our services

Solo Fit provides on-demand access to private gym pods on an hourly basis. Access is available between 6:00am and 10:00pm, seven days a week, via the Solo Fit Gym app. The facility is unmanned and self-access. We offer the following booking types:

  • Pay As You Go single sessions

  • Monthly recurring membership plans (Solo Fit 5, 10, 15 and 20)

  • Block booking credit packs for personal trainers and wellness professionals

  • Corporate wellness accounts

 

3. Bookings and payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance via the Solo Fit Gym app. Walk-in access is not permitted.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking or at the point of membership purchase.

  • Membership plans are billed monthly in advance and auto-renew on the same date each month.

  • We accept payment via the methods available in the Solo Fit Gym app. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge you for the services you purchase.

  • All prices are stated in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

 

4. Cancellations and refunds

Please see our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Individual sessions may be cancelled via the app up to 2 hours before the start time for a full session credit refund.

  • Cancellations made within 2 hours of the session start time, or no-shows, will result in the session credit being forfeited.

  • Monthly memberships may be cancelled before the next billing date via the app or by emailing hello@solofit.co.uk.

  • Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased except where required by law.

 

5. Health and safety

  • All users must complete the Solo Fit Health & Gym Experience Questionnaire before their first session.

  • By booking a session, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate in gym-based exercise.

  • You use the facilities entirely at your own risk. Solo Fit is not liable for injury arising from your use of the facilities, except where caused by our negligence.

  • The facility is unmanned. In an emergency, use the panic button inside the pod or call 999.

  • A first aid kit is available on the premises.

  • The premises are monitored by continuously recorded CCTV.

 

6. Your responsibilities

  • You must be aged 16 or over to use Solo Fit. Under-18s must have written parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • You must use all equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and any guidance displayed in the pod.

  • You must not smoke, vape, consume alcohol, or use illegal substances on the premises.

  • You are responsible for the behaviour of any guests you bring to the facility.

  • You must report any equipment defects or damage immediately to hello@solofit.co.uk.

  • You must not share your account login or access credentials with anyone outside your authorised booking.

 

7. Our liability

  • Solo Fit Ltd holds public liability insurance with a limit of £5,000,000, underwritten by Accelerant Insurance UK Ltd (Policy No. CS/CC/SS14658275).

  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of the facility, except where caused by our negligence or a breach of our legal obligations.

  • We are not liable for the loss or theft of personal belongings on the premises.

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

 

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Solo Fit website and app, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Solo Fit Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

 

9. Website use

  • We make reasonable efforts to keep our website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

  • We are not responsible for the content of any third-party websites linked from our site.

  • You must not misuse our website by introducing malicious code, attempting unauthorised access, or engaging in any activity that disrupts the site.

 

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available at www.solofit.co.uk. Your continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

 

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
